Aftermarket Carburetors?
Have any of you tried aftermarket carbs on a k301? I found them on amazon and ebay for around 50 bucks. Seems a little cheap to me. My 123 has a lot of play where the fuel needle/jets screw in, especially the idle screw. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Scott

I purchased one from Ebay for my 128 and it works fine. Did a lot of checking around too, and most everyone that had ordered one had no issue with them. I did have to remove the choke shaft and swap it out with the old one. My aftermarket carb choke lever was setup different.

There have been about three threads on this subject. I recently got an aftermarket carb and it worked just fine. Some of the eBay vendors offer different variations of the carb, with different throttle or choke shaft designs. Also it seems that some of the eBay vendors sell the carb with metric threads which can be a problem when it comes to attaching the air filter housing.
