What would be the worst thing that could happen if I do nothing? It seems fine while driving, even on a hill there seems to be no drag, I understand it's not like a standard shift would feel free, but it seems fine while running. it's only while I try to push it by hand is when it's locked.

Zippy1 my 125 has been like that ever since I have owned it. It pushes easier in one direction than the other. I have never worried about it. I have even changed the release valves once and still does it. I did not change them for that particular problem but because one was stuck down and wouldn't move in one direction. I have always felt that the HY-TRAN pushes through the pump easier in one direction than the other. The things are to darn heavy to push anywhere. Always start mine if I need to move it. Gear shifts are another story. Zippy1 i would not split the tractor. I think what happens is when you push the tractor the hydro pump is spinning and is picking up oil in one direction and pump it through the system. The other direction is wanting to discharge it.
