Steve, is that triangular area to the right of the carb a patch on the block?
Your folks still use the H for chores or is it fully retired?

I think you are correct about the patch. I'll have to ask the old man about the story on that again. I know he bought it from a neighbor in the early 80's. They use it to run grain augers and also mow open ditches with a side mount IH 110 sickle bar mower.

Checked with my dad. Block broke due to being froze. Happened in the late 50's. No issues after the repair.
