A 149 already has hydraulic lift.... YOU DON'T NEED ANOTHER PUMP.

how about we try a more constructive approach. the pic you posted is of a narrow frame cub which wasn't available with a ported pump and hydraulic lift, they added that pump to add hydraulic lift to a tractor that never had it. your tractor already has hydraulic lift and a ported pump so there is no need to add a second pump, if you want to add front or rear ports you simply need to change the single spool valve to a double spool valve and run a few lines.

Follow along with what Tim's telling you. Get a valve like this;

You will also need to make up a kit like this;

But... If you're not familiar with the different hydraulic fittings you may be spending a bit of time (and money) swapping out different fittings to get it all to hook up right. You will also still need to fabricate control levers for the valve. It's not really that hard, just plumbing.

Tee off the lines on the valve for the front outlets.You wont use both at the same time so it id doable.Check the thread I had on customized tractors under Mini Super

He has a 149 so he doesn't have front ports to tee off of.

if he didnt care about his tractor lift moving, he technically could do that...

Thanks for the I put guys. I know my 149 has pump. Was wanting to do something in regards to an implement of some sort. In process of making wagon but also thought about making a cart with hydraulic pump and thought was the reasoning behind adding that extra pump. I'll check into the other since everyone is stating the same thing

Those are good deals,you still have to make sure though that there is no dirt in those exposed ports before you hook it up.

I hope I'm not hijacking the OP's thread but maybe my question will help him too.

I have no personal plans to add hydraulic ports to anything in my fleet but threads such as this one always interest me because I am pretty ignorant in the plumbing and terminology on this subject and hope to learn something.

I was curious if anyone is aware of any simplified drawings (schematics so to speak) of the lines and valves of these setups that would give a novice like me a better understanding. I'm speaking of something along the lines of the great electrical and other drawings that R Bedell takes the time to create and put in the tech library.

Thanks in advance to any guidance.
