Rear hydraulics

Can I put a pump on the back side of my hydro on a 149 For rear hydraulics. Thought I seen a post where people installed one but wasn't sure the kind of pumps they installed. Would like to make trailer with dump hydraulics or foe use on other implements.

you dont need another pump, you need to replace the 1 spool valve with a 2 spool valve which will allow you to have either front or rear ports or both.

Does anyone know where the post is about different uses for the shaft out the back side of the hydro?

Where can I get a 2 to replace the 1?

That shaft is basically worthless unless you have a super with a rear pto. You can get a cub 2 spool valve off eBay or from the sponsors but there kinda pricey, I'm in the process of putting an h2 valve from a John Deere in my 1211. The cub valves sell for $200 and up but I got the jd valve for $45 off eBay. Here's a link to my thread, I just need to make the levers and find time to get to the hose shop and it will be done.

I am also curious as to how 1 would put hydraulic outlets on the BACK of a cub cadet:bigthink:

Your joking right......:bigthink:

Def not joking. Seen a post a whole back where someone put a pump on there. The original post was about someone using it as a pto.

Is that from this site??

Looks like a giant C.F. :bigthink:

Doesn't look to me like, whoever he is, is using it for a rear PTO. Looks like he used it for the lift cylinder. But I'm not sure what all the hoses are for. There is obviously stuff missing from the pic, but the way it appears to be plumbed, it won't work anyway.

That's what I was wanting a lift cylinder, nothing with pto.
