Talking Hook Up The Trailer

I would go out and buy another IHCC Garden Tractor each time she says it wrong and say "Look at this lovely piece of mechanical perfection dear, Its a Garden Tractor, and it's one like they don't make anymore."
After 3 to 5 new acquistions on your part, she will likely say, "What are you going to do with all these lawn mowers?" At this time, depending if you have a satisfactory start to your collection, you may choose to tell her it has all been an effort to educate her on how special these little beasts are. If she don't get it just hook up the tralier and shoot by the ATM.

Congrats on your Cub ....she'll come around but never really understand.

I was looking on CL today and saw a off brand tractor really cheap and said something to my wife about buying. She imediatly said "Where are you going to put it", and I just replied "Bend over and I'll show you". She didn't think it was as funny as I did.

Need to Keep busy and decide that I need a hobby. So she knows that as long as I'am in the garage I'am safe but she doesn't let me out of her site to long. I guess she wants to make sure I'am still moving. I'am up to 5 but I don't get to much Grief about it from her. Now my Canadian family members(InLaws and wife cousins) think I fell and hit my head.
:biggrin2.gif: Now you know that she probably says she is keeping an eye on you to make sure your still moving....but pay attention to her when you arrive back from a drive to town. Does she come out to inspect the garage to make sure you didn't bring "anything" home? HA! I got that a couple of times - checking to see if another Cub followed me home or not. I just kinda look at her with a smirk on my face and tell her to mover her little #$& along...there is nothing to see here. Unless your offering up a , cause I know you haven't come to offer your help in yard work! Outlaws....now THAT is another storey! We won't even go down that road or get started on what they may think. I tell ya, you think your outlaws thought you fell on your head.....I KNOW mine are OUT TO LUNCH and I have LOTS of ways to prove it. Considering the brother in law thinks I was crazy buying a Cub....his Craftsman is a piece of junk! Not only is he always working on it, but he has replaced the battery like 4 times in the last two years? Not sure which is worse, the idiot that can't seem to figure out why the battery is no good, or the one that keeps buying a new one to put into a piece of junk that isn't worth anything but scrap steel? Ever heard of a battery charger first of all??? Perhaps don't leave the KEY ON! DUH!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
