That's amazing John that its coming apart so easily, looks almost too decent to restore already but great job. What paint are you going to have him use? Great idea with the green house deal, looks good

I like your work area. The fact it's heated is a giant plus.

Only problem is that I have to wait until the sun does it's thing. Cloudy days are days off.

Sorry. It was a response to this post. Might be an inside reference but I just don't know.

My next problem will be how to work on the underside. Thinking of taking off steering gear and lift arm and turning the whole thing over, still on it's wheels. I've had the shifter off to look inside. I guess I will have to do the best to drain the tranny first to be able to have the shifter off to clear being upside down.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
