Default Spring Assist

Does anyone know where I could find pictures of a spring assist mounted on a 72 or maybe the manual? Thanks in advance.

Looking at the back of the tractor it mounts on the right hand side. My question is does it mount under the frame or does it mount on top of the frame?

BdB: This site won't let me post a large clear photo from my computer, so email me and I'll get you a hi-resolution version of the Brinly install instructions with photo's.

Thanks for the help. I finally got around to woking on it and once I got on the correct side of the tractor it fits. Did some plowing just for the heck of it and it works great.

This is for a narrow frame. When I tried this diagram on my #122 it wouldn't work. Tried & tried , the u clamp just wouldn't fit.
but not the sharpest tack in the bunch?

I imagine a wide frame like a # 127 would even be different?

NIK,

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
