Default Here we go again, another 100!

Made me a phone call last night to check out this 100 for sale. Got to talking with the guy and found out in a round about way he knew my family and he talked about being a International dealer years ago. Well one thing led to another and I found out he wasn't more than 30 miles away, well now I have to go and check this thing out, of course I took the trailor just in case.
After a little dealing, and he's moving and had no room for the 100, and wanted to sell it now. I brought it home
Doesn't run yet, it's been in a heated shop nearly all it's life, has fenders and sleeve hitch. It's by no means a ten, but I haven't brought one of those home yet
Check out the phone # on the dealer decal!

Awesome find! And its nice to shoot the bull for a bit too Looks like it has the usual drive shaft access hole cut in the frame, but at the very least you have some super nice parts there...fenders, sleeve hitch. Ive picked up cubs in a lot worse shape than that, and they are my workers

Yep, theres something wrong with me I think. I can't look at one of these old dogs and not want to bring it home. I've heard of this yellow fever before, but never thought it could happen to me. Ya right!!!
This is the last one for awhile, running out of room, things are starting to get cramped in the shop, and that's another thing I would never let happen.
Face it I'm a sap for rusty yellow and white, stinky gas, and weather checked tires

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
