The 86 is running again!!
After I got my 86 running and then had to rework the driveline in it...everything was just fine and then the intake lifter/tappet stuck in it....
 I tried to get it unstuck for awhile with no luck...another project came up...I had to refinish some antique furniture for my granddaughter that is due in May ...so the 86 got pushed around behind the shop with the intent of a rebuild.. Yesterday, I rolled her back into the shop and pulled the head, valve cover, and intake valve and worked the lifter up and down while spraying with carb cleaner and then some PB Blaster...after about 30 minutes of this it broke loose and is working fine now. I cleaned the block and head up, changed the oil, lapped the valves and reinstalled them...put the old head gasket back on just so I could crank it up and it worked fine (only ran it for a minute). Still has the standard piston and very little wear in the cylinder. Ordered a new gasket set for it, should be here by Wed. of next week. Taking the head to have it trued up today. Just giving an update on another old Cub...she's still clicking along!!  Thank ya Lord!
