Default Engine question

I know it's been asked before but here we go. I want to overbore a K301 to a K321. Can this be done using the stock K301 crankshaft?

Well, that's out of date. Current count is 2 LT1050's, a 76, 1 2284, 1 2130, 1 2135, 1020, and 10 1250- 1650's, with decks, blades, snow throwers, and a Brinly plow

Default Engine question

I may be wrong, but I do believe that all those engines had the same bottom end in them, just different bore.

A 301 crank is quite a bit lighter than a 321. You will probably end up with something that will vibrate itself to smithereens. I think I would just find a 321 block and have it rebuilt. Not to say the piston wall thickness will be extremely thin. Good luck

I also would not bore a K301 to a K321 bore. The cylinder wall remaining may be very thin. The crank is also different.
