Default My new 102

Hi all,

I recently did some trading with another member (cubs-n-bxrs), and ended up acquiring a 102 and 122 from him. I only took a pic of the 102 for now..its too tough to get the 122 out of my garage, plus I'm currently pulling the motor to fix a leaky oil pan.
I swapped the hood from the 122 to the 102 temporarily as the 102 hood is prepped for paint. She is a real solid, sweet running tractor, and with some cleaning and paint will shine again! Another great transaction with a forum member!

Jeff (teet)

Gee Whiz that is a really nice machine you got there Jeff. Boy I sure do miss her. LOL That tail light looks really nice. All you need is the hydraulic lift set up and you will have a nicely optioned 102.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
