Default Cub Cadet paint
Where do you get Cub Cadet Paint. I'm in a area in SW Missouri that is polluted with tourists and no farm supply stores to speak of.

Painting won't be a fast priority, but I thought I would ask.

Thanks for the help guys, there are some super nice pictures on these websites.

I get mine at the IH dealer. If you want I can bring you some when I stop down to "pollute" your living area next Spring (like I always do). :P I love the Ozarks.

Default IH Paint
I have a Tractor Supply Company about 35 miles from me, I see they have Cadet Yellow and IH White in rattle cans. I am guessing they are satisfactory, I see they are Valspar brand. I do not have access to an IH dealer in this area.

The Valspar yellow isn't to correct shade that you would want. It is the current yellow being used. Rustoleum paint designed for appliances seems to be the closest white I have seen.

This fall I started a redo on my 125. I had most of a quart of Cub Cadet yellow I had purchased in 1983....it mixed up well so I sprayed it on. I ran a little short so I went to TSC to see what they had. I remember reading somebody on here used Transport Yellow so I bought a quart. It is almost a perfect match, so Transport Yellow is what I'll use in the future, although next time I think I'll try the hardener too.

Transport Yellow = like in school bus's?

What brand?

Interesting.

Reason being, is that I had tha nose of my # 109 in the back of the car & found a school bus parked in our sub., waiting for the kiddies. I held it up to the side of the bus & it was a perfect match.

I MEAN PERFECT. Bus driver thought so to. Thinking of going to their maintenance yard this Spring & asking them to shoot a small piece when they do some body work & see ?

The brand is Valspar the color is Transport Yellow. I'm not sure where the "Transport" comes in to play but it is almost exact. About $11 a quart....the price is right.

Dave, i don't know what cub cadet you're going to paint but make sure you get the correct white for it. Valspar has the cub cadet beige and then they have the IH white. Both are good paints and match well. The two tractors in my avatar have the valspar cub cadet beige.

I get my paint from my local auto parts store.


It cost a few dollars more....well worth it in my book.
