Default brake question
Here is another basic question, what is difference between internal and external brakes? Thanks, and once again just trying to fully understand everything about these machines,

internal brakes are inside the rear end and external are mounted out side the rear end on the axle tubes, external are easier to get to and change.
internal are harder to get to but not exposed to the elements and in theory should last longer IMO because there is no foreign debris to get on them and help wear them out, or after sitting for periods of time the brake disc building up surface rust and wearing on the pads.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
