Pushing a 1650
The paragraph in quotes below is direct from page 15 of the 800 - 1650 Operator's Manual... what I need to know is where is this Release Lever on a 1650 QL?
"To push or move the tractor for a short distance, the release lever must be held in the (up) position and the speed control lever must be in the "N" position." Sorry about multiple posts, I'm a newbie and didn't realize the different catagories... Thanks!

The release lever is on the right side of the tunnel cover. The later QL tractors didn't have the release lever, as they had automatic release valves.

Thanks Allen! I am new to hydro, all mine are gear and when i went to push it (ran out of gas), i was feeling kinda' wimpy (very un-cub-like), since i didn't have the manual yet, and hadn't gotten to this newly-found awesome site, I had no clue. At any rate, thanks for the info, saves me searching e-ney for something i don't need... I too am a proud owner of a bruised 100, recently acquired, looking forward to spring and warmer weather to restore! Thanks Again, and glad i found my yellow home...!

IH made a update in those Check Valves during the Quietline Series. So, it depends on the Chassis Serial as to whether which valve(s) came with your tractor originally.
The Manual valve are now replaced with the Automatic type. Click here for additional data....... Valves
