I used to have one or more, then they changed the contained design and I didn't need them anymore.

Portable combination bottle and can opener.
Pop machines back in the day had them, although a different design, permanently attached to the machines, for snatching the caps from the bottle tops.
One end is for bottle caps, the other end for opening a beer can.
A good cook will usually have several for opening canned milk to pour.
I have a GREAT COOK, and she has been with me for 60 years come Feb 18th!!

In the days before snap-top cans and twist off caps,
church keys wouldn't get you into a church,
but they often got you into trouble.

Does that one not post date the item called a "Church Key" , I imagined it was specifically designed to only remove "crown seals"

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
