Anyone doing some snowblowing or snowplowing this season? If so, post up some images for us southerners to marvel at. I think even in NC, we're to have some snow this weekend though it usually turns out to be ice.
"tis the season to be plowing...... fa la la la laaa"

Part of my Snow Fighting Team:
![]() ![]() It's a 125 with a 42" plow using a hydraulic lift I picked up at a Red Power Roundup some years back. Wasn't cheap, but worth every penny to save my arthritic shoulders. Also has a custom made (by me) carrier on the back with about 200 lbs of iron on it. I built the carrier to carry a sprayer, but it has come in handy for carrying all kinds of things over the years. The 125 has Ag tires, wheel weights and chains to get enough traction on snow and ice. It will still spin the tires if I try to push something heavy enough. Been my main snow rig for about 25 years. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
