It is not acceptable, and has the wrong kind of pin in it also, should be a spiral pin not a spring pin.

What might be acceptable to one person is not to another, just ask a remarried man or woman. I prefer something I don't have to worry about going to hell during usage at an inopportune time. Sure you can use it till a new one is in hand. Any port in a storm, is the old adage. One thing certain: it ain't ah gonna get better and heal itself, only get worse. Does that answer your question? hope so as that is all I got.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
