Default Driveline connecting collar wobble

Is this acceptable or no?

Note I didn't ask if it was desirable, just acceptable.

It is not acceptable, and has the wrong kind of pin in it also, should be a spiral pin not a spring pin.

Acceptable to who?
You? Me?? Us??

Looks correct to me as to length.
Is it thick walled??

Is it tight around the drive shaft and the input pinion?

If so, no problem.

One mans trash is another mans treasure.
What might be acceptable to one person is not to another, just ask a remarried man or woman.
I prefer something I don't have to worry about going to hell during usage at an inopportune time.
Sure you can use it till a new one is in hand.
Any port in a storm, is the old adage.
One thing certain:
it ain't ah gonna get better and heal itself, only get worse.
Does that answer your question? hope so as that is all I got.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
