Default BKT TR315 Tires any good?

I need a set of tires for a 123. Are these 4 ply "trencher lugs" decent? They certainly are cheap at $64 from simpletire

I can't say about that specific tire pattern, or design. I had to repl the rears on my Ford 8N. I wanted US made tires until I saw the price. I put BKT on their 4 years ago. I don't do any farming, but the tires are holding up very well. They were less than half the price of US made BF Goodrich same model, same size.

A six ply tire will be tougher to mount AND the sidewall will not flex as much to conform to the surfaces it operates on,
especially considering the light weight of a garden tractor
Will they work, yes.

I recently put on a pair of the Deestones on a 147, except 23/10.5R12's, and like them so far. https://simpletire.com/brands/deesto...&userZip=68197

Cool thanks. This tractor will be for intermittent use on level ground, so hopefully George's input on sidewall stiffness wont affect things that much.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
