Ross steering question?
As I understand it a Ross steering unit on a CC123 should be a two turn unit, and that would be two full turns from stop to stop.
And if that info is right then why/how would a unit only make full turn of the steering wheel from stop to stop? Going to do some rebuild on the Ross unit or look for a three turn unit out of a green machine to rebuild to go in to my CC 123, now that I nolonger have to work for a living it's time I got to work on some of my list to do. Steering rods could be binding, missadjusted, or wrong length. Unbolt the rod from the steering box to see if the turning range increases.

I got some more time on the 123 today, still don't know what was going on but I can now get two full turns stop to stop.
I'am going to pull the steering wheel shaft and box and take it all apart, it still "locks" at the one full turn but will go past it if I put more into it. was only getting one turn without the shaft hooked up , so I know that the trouble is in the box and not the front end tie rods, Will post an update once I know more. Joe
