Default Front mount broadcast spreader ?

Anyone ever come up with a way to mount a broadcast spreader to the front of their Cub?

I'm tired of pushing and don't like the pull behind units as it's hard to watch and drive.

While mowing with my 1864 I thought some type of 12v ATV spreader might be a good option.

You want to spread herbicides, fertilizer, and pesticides in front of you,,
so the particles will be in the air for you to breathe as you drive into the "cloud"?

I guess that might be why such a spreader is not a popular item,,,

I don't think I'd like to be driving into a plume of fertilizer.
Sorta like why a persons bodily exit is in the rear.
There are some things better left behind.
oh that includes little tow behind sprayers with chemicals also.
Now as far as what you want to build to hang on the front of your tractor,
let you only be limited to your abilities to fab up a mount.
Edit:
CADplans beat me to it,
my one finger is slow this morning.

I have plenty of masks!

The fertilizer I've been using with my push broadcast spreader has been very granular and not dusty at all but good point. I'd be more worried about getting my tractor dirty.

I guess that eliminates my idea for a front mount sprayer.....

Front mount tank for sprayer would be fine.. Just plumb it so the liquid exits to sides or behind you

Here’s a sleeve hitch spreader I built from a tow behind spreader. I used the motor, gearbox, and trigger from an old cordless drill and wired it to the tractor battery. The bottom of a bucket was used to keep the back of the tractor clean.

That is what I thought of. Getting/making a unit to go behind you. It could either be mounted to a sleeve hitch like you have, a 3 point hitch, or even just a receiver.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
