Default Whining Rearend
My 1200 has a whine while in gear. Is this normal? I changed the fluid.

Straight-cut gears whine, just like reverse in your manual transmission car.

Mine has the same thing. Mine also has the I believe 13 or 17 tooth rear end in it and it is not nearly as fast as the other tractors we have here. I can push alot more snow that them though..Is your rear internal brakes??
