Default Anyone know how to fix this??
The lift handle on my 70 button wont pop back up when raising it. I have to hold it up the pull the button up by hand to get it to lock. Is there a fix for this?

A broken spring or maybe push rod need lube? I think your push button is threaded on ( based on my experience with my 125). Un- thread it and there's a spring under there.

Be careful if you replace the spring! I tried to replace one on my 124 this summer and twisted the button off the rod because it was rusted fast. I ended up replacing the entire lift because of it.

X2. I did the same thing, it was a pain trying to get the broken piece out.

Quick try for a fix is to spray some PB Blaster or other lubricant spray in and see if it releases and frees it up. If not, then you need to replace the spring (and possibly more as per other posts). Be sure to wear eye protection before spraying and/or face shield as some of it is likely to bounce back your way.

Same problem here on my 108 ,lots of pb blaster for about a year now. Do you think my button screws off also?

The button on a 70 is different than what is on the 124 and 108, it is different but you still have to be careful to remove it.
