Default 2284 battery
Hello everyone, my brother gave me his 2284 and I was wondering what you guys are using for a battery.

and,, buy whatever is the same size,,,

78 Group size fits perfectly in the CC battery box and hold down. Regular price $50. Usually on sale for $45. Made by Exide.

I have need for quite a few batteries. I've bought a bunch of these over the years. Most last the full five years, all at least four. I have a dozen or so Cyclops and all have this battery.

You need to use the hold down so the battery doesn't bounce around and vibrate. This battery will accept the CC hold down.

I've always had good luck with batteries from Farm and Fleet if there is one near you.

BCI Group 78 is a side terminal battery. I think the battery you are suggesting is a universal dual terminal battery combining a group 34 top post and a group 78 side post.

DT stands for dual terminal. Take your pick on how you want to hook up the cables.
