Got the most recent deplorables out and running around today
Left is 122 and right is 123. I asked my wife which one she liked best and her answer was "the one you're going to sell". Some people have no sense for the finer things in life. ![]()

When someone, my wife or daughter says something about how many Cubs I have, I go and buy another. It is more of a joke now, but they have leaned that I am not kidding. I would have to go count to see how many I have now.

Every time I hear my wife say something dumb like that I remind her that she sounds like someone I once knew and was quite fond of a while back,.....my ex-wife.
Nice cubs!!! It's kind of neat how you can get several of them (cubs) together and they do not get jealous of each other or nag at you at all!!! Cub Cadet 123

![]() I'm one of the lucky ones I guess. Never heard one complaint on what's in the barn, or what's coming home.

I suspect if I had a barn I'd not hear anything either. Barn...what a nice thought! Both of these were sub $200 cubs so my expectations for them were really modest, but they're really solid cubs with good engines, clutch/pumps and drive lines.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
