My 109 was like that when I got it 20 some years ago...
On a really hot day it would stop moving, took the fenders off and the transaxle out of it and washed it really well. Its still going strong today. |

My 149 was like that, too. The Super Clean (or is it Super Kleen) at Wal Mart for about $8 works great for ecologically removing that grime quickly.

Krud Kutter <or> Krud Cutter is a spray that after spraying on the whatever piece your gonna clean does a GOOD job in de-greasing the what-ever your trying to clean. But you have to do a little scrubbing with a nylon brush to do a good job.
Think I bought it at Wal-Mart? This oven/grill cleaner is awsome, actually I am now looking forward to tackling the job. Imagine that? ZEP, makes all types of cleaning stuff for just about every application the heart desires. She bought ours at Home Depot, also glass cleaner, etc. but I would imagine that most Ace, True Value would have it also? Nik |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
