Default 149 upper grille broken... options?
I dropped my hood while taking apart my 149 and broke a section of the grille under the headlight, about a 4" section is missing. I saw one sold on eBay for $24 plus shipping. I have been looking around for a replacement but these seem hard to come by. I wonder if/how this could be fixed. What material is it? It's not cast iron like the lower grille. Or if anyone has an extra one laying around they might part with. This isn't necessarily a "want" ad.

A good welder can fix it
But, will likely cost you more than a replacement.

Yep, it's a really common part and should be easy to find.
