Low fuel light
I have a 1541. In the past, the low fuel light has always come on when there's about 15 minutes of fuel left in the tank. Lately, the low fuel light isn't working. I ran out of gas once last winter, while blowing snow, and 2 times this spring. I checked the bulb, and it's good. Where is the fuel level sensor located, and how does it sense the fuel level? (is it a float switch, or something else?)

If I pulled the correct machine, the sensor looks to be #12 on the attached picture. Cub cost is 45 bucks on their website. Check to see if a ground wire came undone or something simple didn't happen before you spend your hard earned cash.
