Default Pull the Trigger

It started last night around 7:00PM. Got done emailing my daughter with some information she requested and all of a sudden, I can not connection to the internet. After hours of trying this and that, I find I can connection to the Internet with IE11 but not my favorite Firefox. Uninstalled and run a battery of clean up utilities looking for viruses, spam, and malware and all my programs say I am good. Re-installed FireFox 52.0 and still the same. Been at it since 6:00am and nothing. Just pull the trigger now.

Roland, I had Firefox and all of a sudden my laptop started to get really slow. It wouldn't even load pictures. I then went through all the steps you did. But Firefox for some reason was storing tons of info on all the sites I went to, and of course the ones I went to the most wouldn't load. I deleted all cookies and wiped it then loaded windows 10. My problems are gone?

FOUND IT.....

After about 12-14 hrs of screwing around, turns out that my Firewall decided to automatically update itself in the background and the update turned off FireFox.

This automatic update sh*t drives me nuts. I have since scoured the internet and learned how to turn that off for that program.

I was having issues with Firefox on my desktop. Did a little research and found out that it was a common issue. Since then I deleted Firefox and installed Chrome... lots better!

My issue was with my Fire Wall program. I use Comodo. I have used it for about 8-10 yrs now. Haven't had any issues until recently, when their upgrade through a wrench into it.

I realize being on the internet is a greater security issue as opposed to 5-10 yrs ago and beyond. All the program people are building in these added features which, in my opinion, making it a big PITA. FireFox has now added more security and extra steps to log into a site, including right here on OCC, for me.

You got that Comodo for free, didn't you? Well, there's a price on it, anyway!

That's why I don't use any firewall programs, to include the one built into Micro-$h1t. My router has one and that's all I need. I know the sites I go to and I know the links I click on, so I don't need extra crap telling me what it thinks I need to do. I digress...I use Apple computers anyway.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
