Spacers on head studs 321A
One photo I forgot was of the spacers that go on the studs when replacing the head on the engine. There are two about 3/4" long the other shorter. Can any one straighten me out on this. Can't tell from parts book.
I also plan on pulling the lines to the hydro so that I can remove the tower. I'd like to cap and plug them to keep out dirt. Does anyone know the thread sizes? Thanks TT

321A spacers

The spacers are used for proper support of the heat sheild for the front and I've seen them used on the back with the gas tank as well. I don't have my cubs close to me at the moment, but I believe tha the front gets 3 of these spacers and the back (gas tank) gets two, but could just as well have 3. You can put more of those double bolts in your engine if needed, just make sure that you use the thick spacers and kohler bolts for your head. Hope that helps.
