Default Attaching Blade
I got this blade when I got my 124. Can someone tell me how it hooks up to the tractor? I know it's been made into a quick connect, but I can't figure it out?

Front of tractor. Do I remove the bumper and put it where it looks like it would go?

Remove the bumper and the blade will mount up the same way the bumper is currently mounted.

I would try to put bars to the back for support.
Somebody made that mount. I'm not saying it won't work but
factory ones are braced to the back.

Without a subframe I would caution you to not abuse it to much, It will work just fine but don't go balls out you hit an uneven piece of concrete or something stationary and it could mess up the blade or quick attach. JMHO!
should look and perform well nice find

So I just need to remove the bumper and it should line up correctly? That's what I thought, but there's not much support. AND, does it mount the way I have it shown or does the blade need to be turned the other way?

It mounts the way you have it sitting, that mount you have is something somebody rigged together from a mower deck mule drive. it may bend all to hell the first time you use it for all we know, I remember when you got that and we all told you it wasn't correct, I guess you get to be the guinea pig.

If you put the bolts in, it may hold up ok.

I think it will do just fine for what I need it for. Just to wipe the snow off the driveway. I know from asking way back when about that jimmy rigged part, but I really do think it will be ok as long as I don't hit anything. Got in on and we will find out.

Just off your picture past the upper left picture corner is a catch to lock the blade in position not allowing the blade to move against spring tension. When plowing snow, this catch is to be open so the blade can move. If the blade hits something on the lower edge, the top of the blade will flex forward reducing the shock on the blade mounting. Go easy until you have confidence how to use the blade.

On your next picture, the catch is locking the blade. Not recommended. Lift the catch and turn.
