![]() ![]() Its time for me to get smart about the IH CC 682. I want to order/download the right books - Operator manual and service manual at a minimum per the elders on this board. Can you guys point me to the best place to procure these materials? And by the way, this will be the first expense item for Project X so let's place a focus on INEXPENSIVE so it doesn't deplete my beer fund. :-) ![]() Thanks, -Mike |

Mike,
First off, you don't need to start another thread, the big wheels will get you for that. I have been gotten a million times. But to answer your question, go to the manuals section, under here, http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/showthread.php?t=13226 I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but gives you a place to start. All of the Manuals are under (Technical Library's, Tractor). As far as materials, check the Sponsors page. I use them all the time and most of them are great guys that will help you. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
