Default Gator blades

I have a Cub Cadet GT2550 and here in Australia cannot track down any Gator blades for a 50 inch deck , the normal blade is part no 759-04047
Any help in supplying a part no for a Gator blade would be great as a part no might show up elsewhere in my searches
Unfortunately postage from the US to Aust is a killer almost more the the price of the blades
Regards
Oz

I switched from regular blades to gator blades and saw no noticeable difference in cut, I'm not sure I'd spend the money unless your old blades are wore out.

I also switched to gator blades. The only thing I noticed was the clippings are a bit smaller.

Thanks lads for your replies , if there is no noticeable difference I shall save my pennies
The link was great but will stick with the OEM or aftermarket
The only Gator blades available in Australia had the star hole and that was NBG for me , I am a round hole kind of bloke when it comes to mowers that is
Anyway thanks again

Oh my, I could derail this thread in 2 sentences.
The gator blades make the clippings smaller for sure and invaluable for making leaves disappear in the fall.
Some people use them in the fall only, others all year.
They Do a fantastic job on leaves, especially when the leaves are dry,
they grind them up so fine, they disappear after a rain.

Thanks for the extra info olGeorge however most of my trees are evergreens so we do not have a major "fall" just an Autumn with a few leaves
Anyway all input is greatly appreciated

Do you have your chute blocked off? What deck are you using, if it's on an older Cub?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
