New IH 123 Project
Yesterday I went with my dad to a sale at a farm. I saw a Cub Cadet in a shed with weights and chains on the tires and no attachments and looked and saw that it was a 123, a Cub that I really like. We bought it. It doesn't run, and I'm planning for this to be a restoration project. The first problem is that it is missing the entire air cleaner housing. Does anyone know where I can find one of them for the K301? Will post pics as soon as I can.

Good eye CadetTommy!!! The 123 is the best cub that IH made (I may be a little biased
 ). You have purchased the very first model of the hydrostatic transmissions that IH made in the cub cadet line. The 123 has little fiberglass or plastic on it. It will provide many, many years of service for you!!Cub Cadet 123

Thanks for all of your replies! I think I've found an air cleaner, but haven't bought it. Really looking forward to working on this one. I can't seem to upload my pictures though, I get a "generic error."

Sorry for the wait on the pictures. It's been at my dad's shop since I got it and I'm going to have to bring it home before I can start working on it. I think you all can see what I have to work with here.
