Default In from Ohio

Hello all, been reading posts and such on this site for some time. Have had a 1450 for years and recently picked up a 982 so figured I should join the forum officially. Thanks for the fine website you have! Will come in handy for doing refurbs to both.

Welcome fellow Ohioan. OCC is a great resource and the community of cub owners is second to none. Now I have to echo what Terry said:

How to attach photos:
http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=1024

How to link/insert photos:
No write up that I could find quickly, but you basically use the "Insert Image" icon in the tool bar of the reply box (looks like a mountain with the sun/moon over it). Then you paste the direct link to your picture. Using this tool will require you use some kind of picture sharing website like PhotoBucket, Flickr and others. The text will look something like this: , but if done correctly it will show your photo.

Welcome again!

Thank you guys. I think my pic is upside down. Don't know why. That's the red one, the 1450 is still in the barn. Last person that went in there is still missing. Lol.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
