What's it worth. Looks to be in decent shape. Motor taken out, I guess it had a 3 PT hitch and rear PTO that was taken off.
Thanks |

I wouldn't go more than a couple hundred for it.

Why does everyone worry about being fair?? Here's a chance to get something for a good price. If the guy doesn't know what it's worth, low ball him. His fault for not pricing his stuff. Screw fair.
Sam's point was we can't guess how much something is worth that we haven't seen. Pics are a must on a "how much is it worth" thread. |

Pic #1 Rear tires and weights look good. Front weight bar and weights are a plus. 3 point hitch is a big plus. Can't tell if it has a rear PTO if it does add another $2-300.00
Pic # 2 Deck is the first generation 60" Haban and it looks like it's had a little welding on it. Lift carriage for the mule drive is not the correct one for a Haban deck. Pic # 3 Haban snow plow is the manual angle style and it looks like it's bent at the top. No big deal. Pic # 4 What's the deal with the screws on the hood? My guess is it's worth at least $1000.00 on the low side if the rear end housing is not busted. If it was close to me I'd grab it and drop a new Vanguard in it. Figure total all done around $3000.00 Edit: if the box blade is part of the deal add $200.00

Yep that is the proper deck lift. Looks like you'll need to get us an updated pic of the tractor as it is. You ask questions and then we find out that the info that you supplied for us to answer your questions is wrong. Makes it difficult to help you.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
