Default Looking for a mechanic for my 1650, NW Ohio

I lost power to my lawnmower attachment on my 1650 Hydrostatic. The tractor is practically all original and in great rust free condition. I was hoping to find someone trustworthy to help me with this problem and general maintenance. I would travel a reasonable distance to find someone good. Thanks!
Dan

Thanks for the referral. This was my dad's tractor, hope to keep it going. The thought of using anything else for yard work is unappealing. I'm finding most mechanics are put off by the age of the tractor.

i'm a IH Cub Cadet newbie but I already care about my 1650 the way I used to care for my '68 Honda CL 350. In fact, I want to sell the bike and restore the tractor. Using it is truly a fun ride.

You have a Honda CL 350 for sale? PM me with details. I had a CL77 when I was younger, make that much younger.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
