I've been thinking about hosting a meet and greet in late may or early June, this would be held at my parents property which is about 45 miles north of Pittsburgh. I think it would be great to get some members together to b.s and show off there cubs and we could even do some mechanical repairs if needed, maybe even play some tractor games. I'm just throwing this out there to see if there's any interest, and get a rough idea on attendance. Hopefully gas prices stay down to help out members who are far away. Let's hear some thoughts and opinions.

Yea I suspect anything further west than Ohio or further south than upper Virginia will be to far to go for a one day show but all would be welcome.

That's what I like to hear, now you just have to figure out which tractors you're bringing.

My suggestion would be that prior to the event, you announce (use the smilies next to the thread box) that everyone chat at a designated time & date to coordinate ideas and get a head count so you know how much drinks and chili to make (or whatever is on the menu---hog roast!!!) on the Only Cub Cadets Chat that is at the top of the forum page. We really do not use this feature to its potential and everyone involved can instantly see what the plan is......and maybe car pool if there is trailer space available for an extra cub or two. Oh well, just my 1 cent (too poor to give my two cents). Have a great time. Sorry, but distance and work will find me unable to attend.
Sounds like a good time, though. Cub Cadet 123

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
