Default Was there ever a model 1032?

I bought a 1872 last week and needed some parts, so I posted a wanted ad on craigslist for older Cubs.
Got an e-mail from a guy that said: "Not sure what you're looking for but, I have an old 1032 that has occasional/no reverse. W/ new battery would go good, mow good just don't try backing up. If it would combine w/ yours to give you a good machine we can talk."
I can't find ANY info on this model anywhere, I've looked on this site, google, yahoo search,eBay,etc and nothing. Did they make this and if so approximately what year?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks, Kip

Kip,

I don't think IH or MTD ever made a model 1032. Maybe, it could be the IH built 102.

There was a model 1030 - it was a rear engine rider from the early or mid 90s. But other than that one listed at that auction site, I can't find any such machine....that auction site may have put in the wrong model number anyways.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
