Default Removing electric PTO clutch.

I have a model 1811 cub. It has a kohler magnum 18 engine I'm trying to track down a oil leak. It looks to be leaking behind the PTO Clutch. I'm not sure how to get the Clutch Off. Can someone help me ?

There's 4 bolts that go into the block and one bolt in the driveshaft. Two of the bolts that go into the block also support the muffler so you will need to take the muffler off. You will need an impact wrench to get the center bolt out, otherwise the driveshaft will spin with it. Once you get the 5 bolts out you should be able to just slide the clutch off the driveshaft.

Here's instructions with pictures for a Command engine, but it's the same on the Magnum I'm assuming you have:

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
