Lew someone should have told them to come see your collection. You could have shared some PBR with Mike and Frank. That transit would hold quite a few cubs. I saw an episode once where I think frank was negotiating with a guy on a few old wheel horses and a cub

They came around my area not long ago. A guy I work with tried to get them to come to his house and see his antiques he has collected over the years. I know he emailed them somehow and they had him take pictures of everything he thought was valuable. I don't think he ever heard back from them after sending the pictures.

I enjoy the show but shows like that and barett-jackson make people think they have treasures worth a lot more than they really are.
Or people have something worth $100 @ best, and see something pristine like it on Ebay asking $2000 and figure their item is worth that also.
Makes it hard to find things for a reasonable going price.
We see it all the time.
As they say, one mans junk is another mans treasure.
I always say something is worth what average ppl are willing to pay.
Just like the housing bubble burst a few years ago,
little fixer uppers suddenly became worthy 50% of what they were selling for in most areas.
So it goes, just like the stock market.

Lew, Lincoln made a V12 engine in the Zephyr, 1932–1942 Lincoln L-head V12 (382/414/448), 1936–1948 Lincoln-Zephyr V12 (267/292/306). I'm not aware that they made a 10 cylinder until 1997–present, Triton V10 truck engine.

I agree George, lots of folks think their sitting on a gold mine of old signs and such now. Hard to get a good deal on stuff. I watch them too, have seen some nice looking IH signs on there! I saw the episode with the wheel horses. Seemed like they weren't very interested in the Cubs!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
