Been keeping an eye out for a good deal for work on a 12v sprayer for around the property. Thus far, we've been using a 2 gallon pump sprayer and that is a major PITA. As luck would have it, I now have a 15 gallon ATV style spot sprayer coming my way. My question is what have you guys done to make those portable on our Cubs? I'm looking for something a little better than tossing it in a trailer and going. I'd like to either come up with a mount for the Cub or make a simple dedicated trailer/wheel system for it. I know the minds here have done this so let's hear (and hopefully see) what y'all have come up with!

I did, it was a nice setup! I just need to find a simple way to do it without a welder (that's starting to sound like a broken record around here with me, I'm sure).

It sounds like you work maintenance at a facility. At your next review (if you have them), when they ask what are your goals for next yr blah blah yakity shmakity, tell them you want to take a welding course so you can do repairs around the place. Might be able to get them to pay for a night school class and buy equipment you can use after hrs, that would be my approach. As far as the sprayer goes, I would lean towards a dedicated trailer pull behind setup. Let's say you mix a big tank of X and only use half of it, it's a lot easier to unhook a trailer than to lift half a tank off the back of the tractor till next time. Bill |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
