Default Bagging system for 1250 QL

Does anyone know if they made or if there is an aftermarket bagging system for the 1250 or wide frame mowers? I'm not particularly interested in the trailer system...but the system that mounts to the back of the mower.

Thanks in advance

PECO had a model that mounted to the rear frame. It had its own engine and utilized a large plastic hopper similar to a trash can. The unit worked well and could hold a great deal but the container was heavy and unwieldy when full. My dad had one for our 1000 Quietline back in the seventies.

I like the idea too but, never tried it.

I mow, double 'n triple cutting, with the grass goin' in the woods, under low pines, large hedge row. If needed the backpack blower comes out.

Forty years ago, old Wheel Horses with rear discharge decks, towed sweepers. A bit of a pain but, was usually done when I got home from wo...wo...work.

I have a PECO vac system, but mine does not have a plastic hopper, but instead has a cloth bagger. I suppose you could put a plastic one on if you wanted. They work great for that and with the bag removed, they are great to haul wood/rocks etc. with and because they have their own engine, you can put an extension on the front hose and independently suck up leaves around trees or walkways---places that your cub cannot get to.

There used to be one for sale in the Trading Post, because some member stated that he had two of them and wanted to sell one. Place an add and see if you get a response. I would not mind having a second one if I could find one close.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
