Default Picked up a 124 last night

A turd if there ever was.
The ol' boy that had it was a hoot, had a good BS session while I was there
Dig the fork lift seat and wiring job and the deck is roached, but he was still using it this way earlier in the year.
Think I did good on the price, a crisp Franklin and it was in the truck. Few things I need for the narrow front. Wheel weights, grill, headlights
I also was looking for some good wheel bolts for the original, now I have them also. (Sorry Lew)

Not bad at all with extra goodies. I've brought home much worse for more money so I say you did well. It's got character.

That's what I was thinking.
The thing runs great, and for the money it was a no brainer. But it's been used, but not used up

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
