As bad as we all don't want to hear it (ok maybe some do) there is a reason the next 4 months all end in "ber." That being said, have you thought and/or started your winter prep yet?
I've started prepping my front blade for the 147. Last winter beat up on the paint job I had put on it during the summer so that needed to be touched up. Next week I have to order some new skids because it wore through them. I'm not looking forward to stopping mowing and pushing snow but I know it's coming sooner rather than later.

I'm ready all year long. I have an old Sears GTV16 with a nice plow, weights and chains. That all it does and it's dressed like that all year.

I have been putting my worker 1862 back together, just bought new ag tires for the front (hoping they grab better for steering) Next on the list is making a subframe for the front blade. I used a 5' 3 point on the back last year, and it did the trick, but it sure would be nice to push snow sitting right on the seat.

I'll start my prepping the last weekend of this month when I go to the Cub A Rama show. Hopefully I can find a blade for my 127. Next will be AG tires and chains. I have wheel weights, but hopefully I won't need them.

Been thinking for a while, unfortunately. I've moved the 1864 from mowing duty to winter prep, the 2284 has valiantly taken over this responsibility. I've got a new-to-me cab mounted up on the 1864, and have quite a bit of electrical done. I have the new cab mounted with new lights installed up top along with a backup light installed, each with independent switches. I've also got a 54" WF blade mounted up, but still needs work. All that's left is a lift arm as well as a lift rod, then modifying the cab the accept the lift rod. I've still yet to mount up the rear loaded tires with chains and 75lb per side wheel weights, so there's plenty left to do. Unfortunately, not blower this year
