Default Flooding in the North East

Looking at the news this AM looks like a lot of the north east got or is getting pounded, hope all you guys are OK. We ended up with 5 days of rain and about 4" but all OK here.

Thanks for you concern. I saw the radar last night and I was thinking "no ride on the 125 mowing grass this weekend". Somehow most of the precipitation went around my area in Central NJ. Not a puddle in the yard this morning. The bulk of the system is north of me today. I think it might have something to do with my not washing the truck.

Glad you are OK.

20 minutes south of me got 9" of rain yesterday, we saw around 4" here.

I'm not complaining, the garden needed it.

Good luck and hope no one has any flooding out East.

Around here in Iowa, we haven't gotten a good rain in about a month. No need to kill the grass so to speak cause it's all brown and crunchy.

Metro Detroit got pounded by it on Monday.............talk about major freeways being closed for two days because of how much water came through the area. 6 hours of heavy rain, an inch of rain or more an hour. it was a mess and the clean up continues.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
