Default I got tired of seeing the 128 sit today

this is the 128 I picked up from the scrap yard..i have no interest in gear drive..or wide frames..so I hadn't touched it really..
today I got the shish of seeing it sit around and decided to see if it would run..yanked the battery and key from my 107..and poured a bit of gas in..one shot of ether and a key turn later..it's running..and really well
I need to reroute the fuel line because whoever did it wasn't too bright..and it needs a new muffler and an air filter...but still...runs good

now drives is another story..the clutch is either bad or needs adjusted because it won't move..but the rear is going into gear..so I gotta read up on these because it's my first gear drive..not sure what I'm doing lol

You should probably just give it to me and avoid the whole ugly mess!

Good luck with your Wide Frame Gear drive.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
