Default Hyd drive sickle bar mower

Have any of you guys ever seen one of these? If so who made it? It looks a little like a Haban but I have never seen a Hyd driven Haban.

I've never seen one. I saw that today. Someone posted it in the CL section.

Know nothing about it, but from the look and design of it, I'd say its something newer adapted to a fit the cub.

Yep that's where I noticed it also. Thought I'd post it here to see what I can learn about it.

No hydraulic pump option on that 147 either. And even if it had ported hydro i wouldn't think it would have the volume for it. I wonder where the pump is mounted and the controls. Hmm.

Edit: I see the mule and belt now. Would like to see what's going on under there and where the reservoir is hidden, thought for some reason it would be pure hydraulic.

The pump is run off the front pto,see the belt coming off it.It has to be a self contained system ,like a danco loader.Maybe if you call him he can possibly give you a name and model of it.

Except that he's asking $750.00. Your close you should get it, you don't have one so you must need one.

If I remember correctly didier was bought out by haban. They made only a few that actually fit cubs. I believe Nashcub had one but sold it to another member here. Didier hydraulic sickle bars seem to be popular on Deere's. I know of one that fits a Deere 317 and alike. They are cool!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
