New Cub Cadet 149!
Well, I haven't posted anything or written anything in a long time because I've been so busy, but now I got something to talk about!
I was searching on the local Craigslist looking for a blade for my 1450 when I found a 149 with a 42" blade and 50" mower deck for 600 bucks. I went to look at it and was pleased. It ran pretty well. paint was good, blade was good. In spite of the fact that I only wanted a blade, I now also got another Cub for $525!! After a few repairs, it's running beautifully with only a few parts like hood hinge needed. Here are some pictures of the new one, and the old one with blade. It might look like there is no snow, but we have actually gotten much more snow than usual.

Thanks for the compliments. This is the first time all winter that we've gotten two sunny days in a row, and Im enjoying good old dry dirt too. I agree completely that it's needed. Now that I got the blade, I wish I could have some snow. I can settle for cleaning animal pens though. There are plenty after this winter. I'll be busy. In fact I might go out right now to play with the Cubs.

That's a couple of good lookin' cubs!
Seems we have a lot in common. I have two 149's and I'm also looking for a blade here in Upstate NY. Hopefully I can find a deal like yours.
