Default Would a k301 in a Cub 73 model???
I'm building a fun project and wondering if a Kohler K-401 would fit in my model 73 Cub Cadet. Also, possible place that I can mill the top of the motor And bore it. Any help would be great. Thanks

Yeah, it will fit. But why would you mill the top of the motor instead of shave the head?

because years ago my grandpa blew the head gasket and kept running the motor and it wore a groove in the block and everytime we put a head gasket on it it blows it in about a week

no idea but it looks not bad but it keeps blowing it in the same spot so we had looked at by a small engine shop

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
